Course Info: This course introduces the topic of vibration and the analysis of vibrations in the context of buildings excited by the footfall of occupants. The fundamental principles of vibration are discussed before moving on to examine the guidance provided in SCI publication “P354 – Design of Floors for Vibration: A New Approach”.
